Supplier Stromberg Carlson Products has introduced Zip Grips, a new line of zip-on aftermarket handrail grips. The product is designed to replace OE foam handrail grips, which are prone to deterioration in harsh sun and weather. Zip Grips are made of UV-resistant neoprene with a non-slip rubber backing material.
Zip Grips are available in three colors: charcoal, tan and blue. They come in 39-inch and 22-inch versions, which are sold separately or packaged together in combo packs with both sizes. While Zip Grips can be installed or removed quickly, they come with a sleeve to accommodate a zip tie to prevent theft.
MSRP ranges from $19.95 to $39.95. Zip Grips’ nylon zippers are covered by a 2-year warranty.
