Slade Rand will be responsible for managing and placing editorial content on RV News’ new website: www.rvnews.com. As such, he will be the main contact at the news agency for press releases to be sent. Additionally, he will create and circulate the daily business e-newsletter.
“I’m very excited to have Slade join us at RV News Magazine,” Publisher Dana Nelsen said. “Rand will be writing exclusive news articles every day for our website/newsletter. I’ve charged him with spending most of his day interviewing RV business leaders and creating content for the industry that can’t be found anywhere else.”
Rand is a recent graduate from the University of Mississippi, where he studied journalism and new media. He has worked in newsrooms with the Hartford Courant, NOLA.com and The Fort Morgan Times. He moved to Denver this year after training in business reporting with the Dow Jones News Fund in 2019.
“I’m excited to now be a part of such a tight-knit industry, and am looking forward to helping shape what the future of RV news coverage looks like,” Rand said.
