RV Lifestyle Experts Set to Speak During Back to Camping Summit

The Back to Camping Summit kicked off its formal sessions today starting with speakers discussing consumer travel plans, industry trends, a special financial grant program specific for RV parks and campgrounds and a sneak peek at KOA data on post COVID travel plans. The online event will continue throughout the day on Monday and Tuesday with recordings available through May 31 to all attendees.

“Industry professionals are encouraged to register now as the event continues,” said event producer Mark Koep. “You will have access to the event through May 31 to re-watch sessions and engage with the community of peers.”

The event kicked off with a pre-session on Sunday evening discussing resilience in the RV, camping and outdoor industry.

“This event came about in less than 4 weeks which shows the resilience and unity of the Outdoor Hospitality Industry,” Koep said. “Our attendees are being wowed with industry changing announcements on grant programs and tactical strategies for getting back into business.”

CamgroundViews.com invited representatives from RV businesses to give insights about their role in the nationwide return to the outdoors.

RV industry speakers are set to begin their presentations today and tomorrow during the virtual summit. RVShare CEO Jon Gray, Marc and Julie Bennett of RV Love, RV Life CEO Andy Robinowitz, Kyle Brady of Drivin’ & Vibin’ and Mike and Jen Wendland of RV Lifestyle will speak during the two-day event.

Gray is CEO of RVshare, a worldwide RV rental marketplace. He worked for vacation rental business HomeAway from 2004-2017, and currently acts as an adviser/board member to a handful of consumer internet companies. He will speak on a panel called “What is data showing NOW about your camping audience?” on Tuesday.

Marc and Julie Bennett are full-time RVers, who have lived, worked and traveled in a motorhome since 2014, and visited all 50 states, plus Canada and Mexico. They are co-authors of “Living the RV Life – Your Ultimate Guide to Life on the Road.” They will join a panel discussion about what RVers are expecting when outdoor recreation opens and how businesses can better serve them.

Robinowitz is the CEO of RV Life, a network of websites, apps and tools for RVers. A native of Texas, Andy told Camgroundviews.com that he enjoys camping with his wife and two daughters in their restored 1959 Airstream. Andy will join the panel focused on the question, “What is data showing NOW about your camping audience?”.

Mike and Jen Wendland are authors, podcasters and video producers who operate RVLifestyle.com. They’ll join Marc and Julie Bennet on the panel discussion about consumers’ expectations when it comes to RVs and campgrounds post-coronavirus.

Brady is a content creator and influencer in the RV space. He is also a professional musician, and pre-COVID19 had schedule a spring concert series designed to bring attention to RV parks and campgrounds troughout the southeastern US. He will also join the RV panel discussion on consumer expectations.
